The mission of the Hope House Retreat Center is a part of The Reason For Our Hope Foundation’s mission which is to spread the God News of Jesus Christ and His Church through various multi-media resources and to make available Catholic speakers who are effective instruments of this evangelization. The late Msgr. Peterson opened the doors for retreats at the Avila Retreat Center in 1981 which provided a place for people to experience God’s presence in their lives through a retreat experience. Msgr. Peterson’s vision coincides with the mission of the Foundation, and the Foundation will continue to provide a beautiful retreat center for evangelization.
