WM is proud to be your new environmental solutions provider, and we're excited to serve your community with reliable and environmentally responsible services starting January 1, 2026.
As part of your collection program, you'll receive:
- WM will provide weekly trash and recycling service with carts available to rent for a quarterly fee.
- Bulk item collection for large household items that don't fit in your cart.
- WM's At Your Door Special Collection Service for safe disposal of household hazardous materials and e-waste collection.
All these services are included at a quarterly rate of $90.78.

Cart Rental – Get Your Carts Today
We're excited to offer you the convenience of carts for both trash and recycling service.
Rent a Cart: Only $8.01 per quarter. When you choose to rent, WM will take care of all maintenance and repairs, giving you peace of mind.
How to Order Your Carts
Simply fill out the WM Registration Form on the Borough's website. Scan to fill out the form. Be sure to submit your order by November 30 to ensure speedy delivery of your cart.
You'll need to include your name, service address, phone number, email, and quantity of trash and recycling carts.
Cart Delivery
Cart deliveries will start in mid-December (2025), and we encourage you to begin using your WM carts starting in January.
Don't miss out—sign up for your cart delivery by November 30, 2025.
Senior Citizen Discount
If you're 65 or older, you're eligible for a 10% discount on your service.
Signing up is easy: Just complete the WM Registration Form on the Borough website by clicking the Online Form button or scanning the QR code above and provide your name, service address, phone number, and email. Once submitted, your discount will be applied to future billing.
Trash and Recycling Service Information
Trash Collection
- Trash will be collected weekly on Tuesday.
- Trash must be bagged and tied.
- Residents are not required to use a cart for service but can rent one for a quarterly fee.
- Material placed in carts or bins must be bagged and tied.
Recycling Collection
- Recycling will be collected weekly on Tuesday.
- Recyclables must be placed loose inside your recycling cart or bin. Material outside of the cart or bin will not be collected. Residents are not required to use a WM provided cart, but one can be rented for a quarterly fee.
- Please break down cardboard and paperboard before placing them inside your cart or bin.
- Do not bag recyclables and keep loose plastic bags out of your cart or bin.
Service Guidelines
Place your carts at least 3 feet apart and 3 feet away from any obstacles (trees, cars, mailboxes, etc.) to allow the automatic arm to lift and empty the carts. Place the wheels of the cart toward your house.
Place your carts at the curb after 6 p.m. the night before your scheduled collection day.
Paying Your WM Bill With My WM
You'll receive your WM invoice in December (2025), which includes your Customer ID—located at the top of the invoice. With this ID, you can easily create your My WM account. Having a My WM account gives you full control over your waste services. You can view your service and holiday schedules, manage your account, pay bills, and set up autopay and paperless billing—all in one convenient place.

Additional Services
Bulk Item Collection
Bulk Collection is a convenient service for disposing of large household items that are too big to fit in your regular trash cart. This includes items such as:
- Furniture (e.g., sofas, chairs, mattresses)
- Appliances (e.g., washers, dryers)
- Carpet rolls (cut and bundled)
- Other oversized household items
Residents may place one (1) bulk item out for collection once per month during their designated Bulk Collection Week, which occurs during the fourth full week of each month (see the Collection Calendar). Bulk collection must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance through your My WM Account or online at wm.com/bulky.
Additional bulk items may be collected for $35 each. These must be prepaid and scheduled at least 48 hours before your designated bulk week.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection
You can safely dispose of electronic and household hazardous waste like cleaners, garden chemicals, oil, and batteries with WM's At Your Door Special Collection® Service.

Bag Service – A Simple Option for Light Trash Needs
If you generate minimal household waste, WM's Bag Service might be the perfect fit for you.
Residents can purchase specially marked trash bags in sets of five (5) for $45.00 at the Borough Office. To set this service up, please contact WM at:
