Clean-Up The Streets Day Union City Borough
Sponsored by the Union City Police Department
What is it? It’s the second annual clean-up day. Groups of volunteers will walk down local streets and clean up trash along the roadway. “I drive around and see so many streets littered with trash; it’s a shame. I have always been passionate about clean streets, free of trash and litter. This inspired me to create an annual clean up event in Union City. My hope is that it will have a ripple effect and become contagious, energizing the community to join the mission.” — Chief David M. Pernice
